Please find attached a Request for Quotation package to Supply & Deliver Cherry Tomato and Bell Pepper materials to the Jordan Valley.

The Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion (EDIP) Project, implemented by CARANA Corporation, is a three-year, United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded project devoted to private-sector development in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

CARANA is soliciting quotations and information from qualified vendors in anticipation of an EDIP activity that will be implemented in the Jordan Valley. The project will provide assistance to farmers throughout the Jordan Valley by providing Cherry Tomato and Bell Pepper materials to EDIP selected farmers.

All requests for clarification of any aspect of this RFQ must be submitted in e-mail form only to edipproposals@carana.com no later than 12:00 noon, Ramallah time, Thursday, June 10, 2010. No telephone or verbal requests for clarification will be accepted or responded to by CARANA. Please do not respond to the sender of this message.

Note: All requests for clarification(s) that are addressed by CARANA will be shared with all potential and interested offerors through the EDIP Project website (www.edipusaid.com).

If your organization is interested in being considered as a potential vendor for this activity, your quotation (that complies with all instructions and meets all requirements specified in the RFQ) must be received no later than 12:00 noon, Ramallah time, Monday, June 14, 2010.
