The Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion (EDIP) project, implemented by CARANA Corporation, is a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded project devoted to the development of Palestinian private-sector industries with the goals of producing rapid economic growth and generating new employment.
EDIP can support your investment goals by providing the following assistance:

• Business Specialists with a broad range of expertise in areas such as registration, product development, international certifications, logistics, developing market linkages and providing other types of expertise deemed necessary in order to support the success of your business investment.
• Access to Grant Funding, on a cost-sharing basis, for equipment and similar types of capital assets invested in Palestine. You may be eligible to receive grants for up to 35% of the cost of your investment provided that you have the know-how to make the deal work.

All applications will be selected and evaluated by an independent selection committee. Preferential consideration will be given to those applications from foreign investors that have.

• Successful business experience in the business sector being proposed;
• 100% private-sector ownership;
• Willingness to obtain legal registrations and licenses in Palestine;
• Willingness to adhere to environmental standards;
• Willingness to comply with USAID regulations;
• Sufficient capital for cost-share contributions;
• Appropriate management capacity and staffing;
• Strong prospects for marketing products or services with focus on international markets; and,
• High potential for local employment generation;
